The RDS Primary Science Fair is expanding….again!
In 2017 there will be even more opportunities for schools to visit the RDS Primary Science Fair. In addition to the long-standing Dublin Fair, the number of projects on display in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick will also be doubled. Along with an array of class projects on display there will be a packed programme of age-appropriate science-inspired entertainment that will amuse, inform and encourage all attendees to get curious about science.
It’s about how children think, not just what they know
In case you haven’t been to the RDS Primary Science Fair before: discovering, learning, creating, and inquiring are all part of the Fair. Offering children an opportunity to explore the everyday and ask why, the RDS Primary Science Fair involves the entire class in devising and investigating a science question which they then display alongside other schools at an event in either Dublin or Limerick.

The RDS Primary Science Fair Dublin takes place alongside the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. The RDS Primary Science Fair Limerick at MIC is supported by The Irish American Partnership, Science Foundation Ireland, Mary Immaculate College Limerick, Limerick City and County Council, Limerick Regeneration, Innovate Limerick, Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, Epi-STEM and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
